I like being able to see everything without having to go to a new page. So there's your first comment. :-) I missed the moon... I don't get out much at night. But I will tomorrow, as tomorrow is AWANA night for the kids.
When I started this blog last year, all I had in mind was to use it as a place to post my Fluffy comics. I was doing that on a pretty regular basis, but then my life started to get a bit complicated. I didn't seem to have the time or creative energy to make comics and play around with a blog. I put Fluffy on hold, disappointing a few people who made the blog a regular stop each day. But you can't squeeze blood out of a turnip, as the saying goes.
I'm finally ready give it another whirl. I don't think I'll make Fluffy my main focus, however. I think I'd just rather journal and talk about the changes in my life and the stuff I'm learning.
If you are new to my blog, welcome! If you are an old friend, welcome back!

Who is Fluffy and what made you start writing comics?
Fluffy is a make-believe cat that lives with me and my husband. He considers us to be his parents, and I wonder sometimes if he believes he's human instead of cat.
When my oldest granddaughter started reading I started making comics for her using a computer program called Microsoft Chat 2.5. It's a simple to use program and can still be found and downloaded from the internet. You choose a character, type a line, and the program chooses a pose and puts your text into a word balloon.
There is an option to use your own art work. This is what I did with Fluffy. I drew a dozen or so poses with a felt tipped pen, scanned them, and loaded them into Microsoft Chat 2.5.
For awhile I wrote a strip just for my grandchildren, using the Microsoft Chat character named Maynard. I haven't contributed to it for quite awhile but you can click on the Rice and Raisins link below if you'd like a peek.
Can't read the comics?
Click on one and a new page will open with the full sized comic. Or, you can "right click" and open each comic in a new tab or window.
Are there more?
Yes! At the bottom of each page, click "Older Posts" to find comics posted from the past.
A blog I used to keep up for my precious grandkids...

Hi Fluffy!
I like this format, but I didn't see the old one. It's probably for the best, new things are hard for me sometimes.
Love,
LFC
